My journey into narration grew naturally from my love of language, literature, and the spoken word. As a native Spanish speaker and university Spanish professor, I have spent years paying close attention to the nuances that make spoken Spanish sound natural and engaging—from precise pronunciation and articulation to rhythm, intonation, and expression.
I also know, as a listener, how profoundly a narrator can shape our experience of a story. A great narrator doesn't simply read the words on the page; they connect with the listener, convey the author's intent, and make the story come alive. This is what I strive to bring to every Spanish-language narration: linguistic accuracy, authentic expression, and a voice that keeps listeners engaged from beginning to end.
For me, great narration begins with understanding the words before speaking them. I take the time to understand the author's voice, the tone of the story, the characters, and the emotional nuances of each scene. I then use pronunciation, rhythm, intonation, pacing, and expression to convey those elements naturally in Spanish.
As a native Spanish speaker and university Spanish professor, I bring a deep understanding of the language—not only what is grammatically correct, but what sounds natural to a Spanish-speaking listener. My goal is to remain faithful to the author's intent while creating a listening experience that feels authentic, engaging, and emotionally true to the story.
Every book has its own voice. My job is to help your story find it in Spanish.
I enjoy the variety that audiobook narration offers, and I bring a different perspective to every project. Whether narrating fiction, business and professional books, self-help, or children's literature, my goal is to understand the author's message and communicate it naturally and authentically in Spanish.
My experience as a university Spanish professor has given me a deep appreciation for language, storytelling, and the many layers of meaning within a text. It has also taught me how to communicate complex ideas clearly and connect with different audiences. In addition, my more than two decades of experience in the corporate world, including senior management experience in training, gives me a strong understanding of business, professional development, and workplace communication. Together, these experiences allow me to approach each genre with the knowledge, perspective, and vocal style it deserves.
